Over 55 Skills At Work:Valuing Experience
We Need Your Help!
We are currently seeking mature job seekers living in London and area, age 55+ to participate in our research study. We will only need about 30 minutes of your time, and in exchange you will receive a gift certificate to a local retailer. In order to ensure your safety, research sessions are done remotely via video conference.

Why Mature Workers?
Mature Workers can bring decades of experience, strong communication skills, and supervisory experience to a variety of workplaces. As outlined in a report on age-friendly workplaces by Employment and Social Development Canada, there are multiple benefits of recruiting someone who is older, despite the misconceptions that exist around this group.
We seek to connect mature job seekers to employers who value and respect their skills, experience and capacity. We will do this through specialized resources designed specifically for the mature worker.
Led by Over 55 Skills At Work, this community based initiative is focused on creating more opportunities for entrepreneurs and job seekers age 55+.
